High protein flour contains more proteins than any other wheat flour, it especially contains gluten, a combination of proteins in wheat flour, it absorbs liquid from the wheat flour to form elastic strands, and it then captures steam and carbon dioxide created by the yeast which helps baked goods to rise. It also makes the baked goods softer and chewier.

High protein flours are made from hard spring wheat; it contains 13 to 14 percent protein by weight as compared to other wheat flour which contains only 10 to 11 percent of protein by weight. Commercial bakeries use high protein flours for baking Bread, Pizza Crust and bagels; it can also be combined with other low protein flours to make baked goods.

High protein flour is an excellent source of plant-based protein. By using only a small amount of high protein flour in your daily diet, you can get a huge benefit for your health. This flour has a very versatile nature, and it is used in high protein, low carb cooking. It is perfect for making cakes, pastries, brownies, cookies, muffins, Pizza crust, and bread. This flour has a tasteless and odorless character, and it does not change the taste and flavor of your recipes. It will make your food taste good and make it low carb with all the benefits of a high protein diet.

The high protein flour is rich in Omega 3 and a good source of iron. The flour is rich in protein, but it does not deprive you of your carb intake.

    Where can you get it?

As most of the home bakers are not aware of the high protein flour, they do not use it in their cooking just because they do not find it in regular grocery stores. You can simply order it online, or you can use bread flour as an alternative to high protein flour, it is also made from high protein wheat having a protein content of 12 to 13 percent. This product is for everyone who wants an active life and is a fitness enthusiast.
